YARDLEY, Pa. -- Activant Solutions Inc. recently achieved a milestone rarely reached by industry-specific software providers when the company sold it's 1,000th Activant Prophet 21(TM) enterprise software solution for wholesale distributors.

It is also much more intuitive than flat-file systems - with fields named after the information captured and not obscure abbreviations.

A History of Success

This is not the first time Activant has sold 1,000 solutions to wholesale distributors. In the late 1990s, Activant Acclaim, then the most advanced enterprise software solution on the market, surpassed the 1,000 mark.
