Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab, Salman Taseer lauded the interest and practical steps taken by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to provide vocational and technical training to the youth for making them useful citizens of the country. He appreciated the efforts of NAVTEC to impart technical training to 1,23,000 people including the IDPs. He also commended it for its endeavours to provide vocational training to the youth of remote areas. He hoped that NAVTEC will continue to play its positive role in economic and industrial development of the country. Later, Governor Punjab distributed merit certificates amongst the position holders of the NAVTECs courses.
