.KIDS Domains Inc. Announces Agreement to Act as ``Official Registry'' of .KIDS Top Level Domain for New.net; .KIDS TLD to be a Safe Haven for Children on the Internet.

:KWEB), today announced that the company has reached an agreement in principle with New.net to be the official registry of .kids domain names.

Those applying for .kids domain names will be required to publish content that is "kid-friendly" and is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Not to be confused with the Child Online Protection Act.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998[1] (COPPA)[2] is a United States federal law, located at Title 15, Section 6501, et seq., of the United States Code.
 (COPPA COPPA Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (FTC) ) as well as .KIDS Domains' guidelines. .KIDS Domains will be screening all requests for .kids domain names for appropriateness and will be implementing a process to evaluate sites' compliance with guidelines for kid-friendly content.

New.net has launched 20 new Top Level Domains, including .kids. Through strategic relationships with leading Internet Service Providers Internet service provider (ISP)

Other Web users can activate their Internet browsers to recognize the new domain names in a few seconds by visiting www.new.net. The new domain names can be registered at www.new.net as well.

In a separate announcement KwikWeb.com, currently a 20% stake-holder in .KIDS Domains Inc, said that it has reached an agreement to purchase the remainder of .KIDS Domains Inc.
