n. 1. A girl; esp., a wanton; a gill. Quinn yesterday said she's too old to be thought of as a Wag.
The Dublin-born model, 38, who has been married to former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Niall for almost 20 years ago, added it's up to players and their partners to behave themselves if they want to avoid so-called media intrusion.
But brunette Gillian insisted she is definitely not a typical Wag and explained that she is too old to hold that title.
She said: "I am way too old to be a Wag. I'm old enough now at this stage to be their mothers.
"I think that the only thing that has changed since Niall was playing football is the money. Everything else is really the same. They do get a bit more attention nowadays but if they behave themselves then they will be fine."
Gillian has branched out from her successful modelling career and is now on the other side of the camera to present a Kildare-based show.
She added: "I am really busy with Kildare TV. I have my own show on a Saturday night.
"We cover everything that's going on in Kildare and it's all internetbased.
"It has been keeping me really busy since June.
"Our viewers are increasing every month, we started off at 10,000 viewers every month but now we are almost up to 40,000." Speaking at the launch of the Kinect Experiential ex·pe·ri·en·tial

But the devoted mother of two admitted it is tough on Niall due to his commitments as Sunderland chairman.
She said: "It was good to move back to Ireland.
"We lived in the UK for 13 years but we always planned to come back. It's been great. It is hard for Niall though because he still works in England and he has to travel back and forth all the time. It's a lot tougher for him."
Gillian graced Dublin's most popular shopping street yesterday along with her children Mikey, 13, and 16-year-old Aisling to promote the latest Kinect for the Xbox 360, which is a controller-free games console.
And Gillian added she hopes kids and families will use it to help them get the exercise they need.
She said: "It's such an active type of game so we were delighted to get involved.
