American Gangster, I watched it with my wife and we both loved it

I got pounds 10 for helping out my dad's mate on the milk run. I was only about 13 or 14

First time you got sent off?

I've never been sent off

First holiday you went on?

To the Isle of Man when I was about three with my family

First car you ever bought?

A Rover when I was 17

Last promising young player you saw?

Jonny Evans, the Manchester United centreback who I play with for Northern Ireland, is as good as I've seen in a long time

First time you thought you would make a footballer?

Probably about two years after I first played... at that stage you don't believe it's real until you get established. That was when I thought 'I can do this'

First female ce lebrity you fancied?

Jennifer Aniston. There might have been other ones before that but she sticks in my mind

Last book you read?

Sniper One, about a sniper unit in Afghanistan and Iraq

Your target for the rest of the season?

To be more comfortable than last season in the league and have a great run in the FA Cup
