The company has announced its plans to globally expand its spa brand, Heavenly Spas, to 13 properties by 2014. There are currently 28 spas active at its various properties worldwide.

The new spas will open at The Westin Lagunamar, The Westin Chennai Velachery, The Westin Xiamen, The Westin Changbaishan, The Westin Wenzhou, and eight more properties in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. and Asia. Heavenly Spa by Westin offers signature treatments and exclusive programmes mirroring local culture and customs making each spa unique in its offerings, with a motto to offer wellness for the road, and to allow guests to leave with a better sense of wellbeing than when they came.
