A pair of trademark filings has revealed that Ram, a subsidiary of Chrysler LLC, has decided on the name of its new Fiat-based vans when they launch in the United States commercial van segment in 2013.

Car and Driver has reported that the filings indicate that one vehicle will be called the Promaster, while the smaller Doblo-based model will be known as the Promaster City.

Other details of the United States specific version of the vans are not revealed, although both are front-wheel-drive and offered with various diesels engines in Europe.
