, president and co-owner of Irvine-based 30 Minute Photos Etc. was that hundreds of picture-takers clamored for digital images from their Kodak Advantix APS film. Then, as Goldstone explained, labs across the nation joined in as he heard from many who also began turning customers' Kodak Advantix film into digital images.

In advance of a report to be released by Goldstone during his "Digital Minilab-Retail Prospective" presentation, he is encouraged by these measurable results.

His address is part of an educational panel session on Sept. 8 at The International Photo Marketing Association's (PMA PMA (papillary-marginal-attached),

Although the campaign is just days old, Goldstone reported his sales of Advantix film and APS on-site processing has risen sharply.

The promotion was also reported on PMA's Newsline International Web site (www.pmai.org) and via coverage on several online news organizations. In addition, the campaign was transmitted to the online digital photo lab owners' newsgroup newsgroup

for widespread distribution throughout the photo industry.

"More than 120 retailers have contacted us to learn about the campaign and seek direction on how to implement `APS IS NOW DIGITAL,'" said Goldstone. The promotion furnishes a complimentary Kodak Picture CD with each roll of Advantix film processed with same-day service.

"Many never used a CD to electronically store their photos and most thought only digital cameras could produce digital images. They are like little kids -- customers are encouraged and have fun as they easily receive photographic quality prints along with digitally stored images. The free editing software and other tools let picture-takers create and play with their photos on the computer," explained Goldstone (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/010822/220298.html).

Based on the excitement and strong sales results for "APS IS NOW DIGITAL," Goldstone is scheduling to air $10,000 in 60-second local radio spots on Orange County's 80's music station, Cool 94.3 FM
