Said to have two sons: Hanuman the bachelor God and Bhima. Māruti (मारुति) is a Sanskrit word derived from Marut, meaning (offspring) of Marut. Suzuki, an India-based automaker, is planning to increase exports to counter a decrease in Indian currency. The automaker reported an increase in sales of 20.3 percent, which includes exports of 96,597 vehicles in June, from 80,298 units sold in the corresponding month of 2011. The company reported an increase in domestic sales of 19.3 percent, totalling 83,531 units compared to 70,020 units in June 2011.
