WHAT: Groundbreaking ceremony for Humane Society Silicon Valley's
(HSSV) new Animal Community Center in Milpitas - an
innovative Community Center for people and pets. The center
will feature an adoption galleria with home-like habitats
for animals, a boarding facility, doggie daycare, grooming
center, dog park and training center, pet store,
pet-friendly cafe, education center, outdoor arena,
affordable spay/neuter services and a veterinary hospital
with a public viewing room.
After the groundbreaking, families and their dogs will
embark on the Walk 'n Wag walk-a-thon, a 11/2 mile walk
through Milpitas, which will end at Solectron Corporation's
campus, 847 Gibraltar Drive, Milpitas.
