General Electric has been famed for meeting quarterly targets, but it won't be announcing them anymore. On Dec. 16, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Jeffrey Immelt said at its annual investor outlook meeting that the company would stop offering quarterly earnings guidance.
