(POL) GVT DOES NOT THINK OF GENERAL ELECTIONS IN 2010, MINISTER.ANKARA, Oct 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- A Turkish state minister said on Monday that the government was not thinking of holding general elections in 2010. Bulent Arinc said that the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party was not thinking of holding general elections in 2010, earlier than the scheduled. "However, I do not know what the conditions will bring," Arinc told the private CNN Turk channel. Arinc said that the democratic move of the government was a process, and could not be associated with only ethnic origin. The state minister said the government would try to accomplish the process.
