(NTAP) NetVoice Announces the Acquisition of Synetric Inc.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2000

NetVoice Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets:NTVT NTVT Nederlands Tijdschrift Voor Tandheelkunde (Dutch: Dutch Journal for Dentistry) ) an emerging player in the VoIP industry, is pleased to announce that a letter of intent has been signed for the acquisition of Synetric Inc.

Synetric Inc. is a networking convergence company dedicated to integrating voice and data networks.

Synetric Inc., is a member of the Cisco Advanced Technology partners program chosen along with 20 other providers from over 15,000 applicants. Synetric was chosen based on their installed customer base, their demonstrated ability to support the customer and their designed implementation support. The current ISO (1) See ISO speed.

NetVoice will benefit from the merger by utilizing Synetric as the professional services arm of the company to deploy the implementation of converged voice and data, unified messaging and IP telephones into the enterprise market.

John C'de Baca, President of Synetric Inc., has over 14 years of experience in the computer and computer networking industry. John began his career with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  in 1985 and held numerous technical positions in California, New York, and Texas. In 1991, John became the Technical Services Manager for the U.S. Subsidiary of Canadian Occidental Petroleum. His duties include working with customers to identify revenue opportunities derived from deploying IP Telephony solutions, as well as assisting customers with the integration of IP Telephony solutions and existing legacy telecommunications equipment.

Doug Working, Senior Technical Architect brings over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications applications development industry. Doug has developed and deployed applications platforms such as CTI middleware from Forte and Call Centers from InterVoice and Cordiant for customers such as Avental de Mexico, Canadian Tire, and Thomas Cook. Doug was a member of MCI/SystemHouse's elite Delta Team that specialized in data and telecommunications architectures. His past projects include E-Care/Help Desk deployments for Nextel, as well as worldwide Follow Me Functional Call Centers for Thomas Cook. Doug has been certified in or has become expert in many traditional PBX platforms such as the Lucent G3 and the Nortel Meridian. Doug has also worked with other switches from Ericsson, Oryx oryx (ôr`ĭks), name for several small, horselike antelopes, genus Oryx, found in deserts and arid scrublands of Africa and Arabia. They feed on grasses and scrub and can go without water for long periods. , and the Nortel DMS 500. Current projects include developing and deploying Unified Messaging and Call Centers for CLECs on the West Coast as well as E-Care opportunities for local ISP/ASP customers.

Joel Hutton, Director of Technical Services has been designing and deploying data networks since 1995. He started a networking services company in 1996 to provide LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. Bryan Cochran, Senior Telephony Integration Engineer was one of the original employees of Selsius Systems, Inc., the developer of the CallManager software. He provided installation and support services internally and to end-users on the software and associated hardware platforms. Upon the Cisco acquisition of Selsius Systems, Bryan came to work with Synetric. His history with the Cisco AVVID AVVID Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (Cisco)

 product is the longest outside of Cisco itself and he has been a tremendous asset to Synetric and its customers. Bryan has been responsible for the successful deployment of each of Synetric's customer IP Telephony systems. He is currently certified as a Sales Expert for Cisco Voice Access Solutions for Systems Engineers and as an Engineer for both the Nokia IntegraX Automated Call Processing System and the Nokia IntegraX Network Telephony Unified Messaging System.
