(GEN) TURKISH CONSTRUCTION FIRMS BRIEF TURKMEN CABINET ON PROJECTS IN TURKMENISTAN.


ASHGABAT, Nov 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Two Turkish construction companies presented Wednesday a briefing to the Turkmen cabinet members on their projects in Turkmenistan.

Chief executive officers of the two Turkish companies This is a list of companies from Turkey.
  • Akkimya (Chemicals)
  • Aselsan (Defense Electronic Systems)
  • Atespar (Agricultural Machinery)
  • BSH Profilo (Electric appliances production)
  • Dardanel (Food)
  • Demirbank (Banking)
  • Denizbank (Banking)
, Sehil and Polimeks, joined the cabinet meeting head by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow.

Projects of the two companies in Turkmenistan include a 1 billion-USD congress center on an artificial island off-coast of the country's Avaza tourism resort, a racing track, a port and a lighthouse, an Olympic city.

Turkmenistan is a major market for Turkish construction companies which signed deals worth of 5.8 billion USD USD
