(GEN) TURKISH AEROBATIC TEAM PERFORMS IN AUSTRIA.ZELTWEG, Jun 27, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- A Turkish aerobatic demonstration team performed in Austria on Friday. The Turkish Stars, the aerobatic demonstration team of the Turkish Air Forces, made a half-hour show in Zeltweg, Austria during the international Airpower air·pow·er or air power n. 1. The organized, integrated use of aircraft and missiles for purposes of foreign policy, strategy, operations, and tactics. 2. The tactical and strategic strength of a country's air force. 09 show of the Austrian Armed Forces. Thousands of people applauded the eight Turkish jets that performed the show. Turkish Stars is the only aerobatic team performing their displays with "eight" supersonic NF-5 aircraft. Besides Austria and Turkey, air forces of France, Switzerland and Croatia and some private firms are participating in the Airpower09. The show began on Friday, and will continue on Saturday. Turkish Stars will perform another show on Saturday. Austria's air show, Airpower09 is a a two-day spectacle of stunning aircraft, skilled pilots and world-famous display teams.
