(GEN) NARCOTICS POLICE SEIZE HUGE QUANTITY OF DRUGS IN EASTERN TURKEY.VAN, Sep 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish anti-drug police seized 68 kg of heroin and two tons of chemicals used in heroin production in two separate operations in eastern Turkey.After receiving a tip off, police teams stopped a luxurious car in eastern province of Van and found a total of 68 kg of heroin stashed in hidden compartments of the car by the help of sniffer dogs sniffer dog one trained to detect the presence of specified materials, usually drugs or explosives, by smell. The dogs can be of any breed. . In another operation in Van, police followed two trucks carrying red bricks to Iran from Turkey.
