(GEN) ISTANBUL POLICE SEIZE 20 KG OF HEROIN IN DRUG BUST.ISTANBUL, Mar 28, 2010 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Istanbul's narcotic police seized 20 kg of heroin and arrested 72 drug dealers in simultaneous operations throughout the city, officials said on Saturday.Police raided several houses in five districts after a 2-month long investigation into drug dealers in Istanbul. Police arrested 72 people, one of whom was said to be the leader of the drug gang, and seized 20 kg of heroin, 5 kg of hashish hashish (hăsh`ēsh, –ĭsh), resin extracted from the flower clusters and top leaves of the hemp plant, Cannabis sativa, and C. indica. and 0.5 kg of cocaine in these operations.
