(ECO) U.S. UNDERSECRETARY IMPRESSED WITH TURKEY'S ECONOMIC ACHIEVEMENTS.


ISTANBUL, Oct 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- A U.S. undersecretary of state said on Monday that his country was impressed with Turkey's economic achievements.

Robert Hormats, the under Secretary for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, said that developing countries should also get the place they deserved in the table.

) and World Bank, and participated in a dinner hosted by American companies in Turkey.

Before the meeting, Hormats told reporters that the everybody appreciated Turkey's policies and leadership during the global crisis.

Hormats said Turkey pursued correct policies during the crisis, and had a strong economic recovery.

The undersecretary said Turkish financial system successfully overcome the storm, and Turkish companies This is a list of companies from Turkey.
