(ECO) TURKISH FINANCE MINISTER IN BEIJING.


BEIJING Beijing (bā-jĭng) or Peking (pē-kĭng, pā–), city (1994 est. urban pop. 6,093,300; 1994 est. total pop. 7,240,700), capital of the People's Republic of China. It is in central Hebei prov. , Sep 17, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Mehmet (also spelled as Memet, Mehmed, or Memed) is the most common Turkish male name. It is the Turkish interpretation of Arabic Muhammad. The word is also commonly used for unranked soldiers in Turkish culture.  Simsek visited Chinese Eximbank in Beijing on Thursday.

Simsek is currently in Beijing as the formal guest of Chinese Finance Minister Xie Xuren.

During his visit to Chinese Eximbank, Simsek brought onto agenda the loan which would be received by Turkish Halkbank from Eximbank.

Officials decided to discuss the issue during IMF-World Bank meetings which will take place in Istanbul.

Halkbank officials said that the amount of the loan was not clear yet.
