(ECO) TURKISH COMPANY WINS TENDER ON MANUFACTURING OUTFIT OF LIBYAN ARMY.


ISTANBUL, Jun 27, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- A Turkish company has for the first time won a tender for manufacturing outfits of Libyan army The current strength of the Libyan Ground Forces is 50,000 with an additional 43,000 troops as part of the Libyan Peoples Militia Paramilitary Group. The Libyan Army is organized into 10 Tank Battalions, 10 Mechanized Infantry Battalions, 18 Infantry Battalions, 6 Commando Battalions, 22 , company official said on Friday.

Oktay Ozdemir, chairman of executive board of MOL Mol (môl), commune (1991 pop. 30,763), Antwerp prov., N Belgium, near the Dutch border; founded in the 9th cent. It is a manufacturing city and the site of a Euratom nuclear research center.

 Shops, told the A.A correspondent that Turkey was passing through a historical period and Turkish private sector should make good use of this.

"A Turkish company won a tender for manufacturing outfit of Libyan soldiers for the first time. MOL Shops won this tender," Ozdemir said.

Dubai mayor was also eager to have a MOL Shop in the capital and there were 239 projects of MOL Shops, he said.

"We also made investments in Palestine. There a serious potential in the Middle East," Ozdemir said.

MOL Shops was established by 78 Turkish ready to wear companies to get united against cheap textile products.
