(ECO) TURKEY WILL NEVER LEAVE NAKHICHEVAN ALONE, SAYS CAGLAYAN.NAKHICHEVAN, Oct 27, 2010 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkey's State Minister for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan said Wednesday that Turkey had never and would never leave Nakhichevan alone. Caglayan attended the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Nakhichevan Business Forum held in Nakhichevan, a landlocked enclave of Azerbaijan. Speaking at the meeting, Caglayan said that Turkey would support Nakhichevan's development. "However, size of our trade with Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan is very small. We must double or triple the size of our trade," Caglayan said. Pointing out the common history of Turkey and Azerbaijan, Caglayan urged businesspeople of the two countries to work and act together. "Once we achieve that, we will become two of the most powerful countries in our region," he said.
