(DIP) TURKISH PRESIDENT WATCHES PERFORMANCE IN CHINA.XIAN, Jun 27, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- The Turkish president watched a show in the Chinese city of Xian on Friday. [Persian, rose; see julep.] watched a show named "Song of Unending Sorrow" in Xian, the second leg of his formal visit to China. Gul experienced a traditional Chinese night at an open-air show center in Xian, the capital of the historical Chinese Empire and the east end of the historical Silk Road. President Gul will receive honorary doctorate title at the Xian Northwest University, visit Ulu Mosque and Terracotta Warriors Museum. Gul will receive Shaanxi Governor Yuan Chunqing and attend a luncheon hosted in his honor by the governor. Turkish President Gul will later proceed to Shenzhen, the third leg of his visit to China.
