(DIP) TURKISH PRESIDENT IN SLOVAKIA.BRATISLAVA, Nov 2, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish President Abdullah Gul guln. A stylized octagonal motif in Oriental rugs. [Persian, rose; see julep.] met with President Ivan Gasparovic of Slovakia as part of his state visit to Bratislava. An official welcoming ceremony took place in honor of President Gul. Following the ceremony, the two leaders held a tete-a-tete meeting. After presiding the meetings between Turkish and Slovakian delegations, President Gul and President Gasparovic will hold a joint news conference. Turkish Ambassador in Bratislava Tunc Ugdul will host a luncheon in honor of President Gul and the accompanying delegation. Gul is set to attend the Turkish-Slovakian Business Forum.
