(DIP) TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER, EU COMMISSIONER HOLD A PRESS CONFERENCE IN BRUSSELS.


BRUSSELS, Jun 27, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish foreign minister and the EU commissioner for enlargement held a press conference in Belgian capital of Brussels on Friday.

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn held press conference after their meeting over breakfast.

Replying to a question on a document published in Taraf daily which laid out an alleged plan against the government, Rehn said that they were following developments in Turkish politics and assessing the latest developments in Turkey.

Rehn said he hoped that the internal discussion in Turkey would strengthen democratization de·moc·ra·tize
