(DIP) TURKISH AND GREEK CYPIOT LEADERS MEET FOR 42ND TIME.LEFKOSA, Sep 17, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- President Mehmet Ali Talat Mehmet Ali Talat (born July 6, 1952) is the current President of the de facto Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (or KKTC in Turkish), which controls the northern third of the island of Cyprus, but is unrecognized by any nation except Turkey. of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC TRNC Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus ) and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias met for the 42nd time under the Cyprus talks in Lefkosa. During the meeting, the leaders will discuss proposals related with the issue of "federal execution" under the topic "administration and power sharing". Talat and Christofias made several proposals during their last meeting on September 10 in a bid to soothe differences on "federal execution" which was the beginning of the second round of talks. The Cyprus talks began in September 2008 in an effort to find a solution to the Cyprus issue. The first round of the talks were completed on August 6, 2009. And the second round started on September 10. The next meeting will take place on October 2. Meanwhile, President Talat will pay a visit to New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of next week to meet with UN secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
