Zebari Hoshyar Zebari (or Hişyar Zêbarî) (born 1953) is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq. A Kurd originally from Aqrah, a city in Iraqi Kurdistan, Zebari holds a masters degree in sociology from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom and studied said Thursday his country was eager to cooperate with Turkey to
shape the future of the region.
Zebari addressed the opening ceremony of the meeting of Turkey-Iraq High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council held in Istanbul. Zebari thanked Turkish government for its support and assistance after terrorist attacks in Iraq and for its help in treating hundreds of people injured in·jure tr.v. in·jured, in·jur·ing, in·jures 1.
