(DIP) GERMAN AMBASSADOR WELCOMES TURKISH GVT'S DEMOCRATIZATION INIATIVE.ANKARA, Oct 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- German Ambassador to Turkey Eckart Cuntz welcomed on Monday the government's democratization de·moc·ra·tize tr.v. de·moc·ra·tized, de·moc·ra·tiz·ing, de·moc·ra·tiz·es To make democratic. de·moc initiative launched to deal with Turkey's Kurdish issue and give an end to end PKK PKK Player-Killer Killer (multiplayer gaming) PKK Partiya Karker Kurdistan (Kurdistan Worker's Party) PKK Kudistan Isci Partisi (formerly Kurdistan Workers Party, now KADEK) terrorism. Cuntz told reporters at a dinner he hosted in the Embassy in honour of senior police officials that the initiative showed that Turkey was a dynamic country that looked to the future. Cuntz said embracing the ethnic diversities would make Turkey a stronger country at home and abroad noting that it would also enhance peace and harmony in Turkey. He said it was important that the democratization initiative was born and shaped in Turkey, an issue openly discussed among the public. Kuntz pointed out that PKK was among EU's list of terrorist organizations and said it had to give an end to acts of terror targeting Turkey's unity.
