(CUL) ISTANBUL MUSEUM TO HOST VENEZUELAN FILMS.ISTANBUL, Oct 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Venezuelan films will be screened at an Istanbul museum for five days, museum executives said on Monday. Istanbul's Pera Museum Pera Museum (Turkish: Pera Müzesi) is a museum in Istanbul, Turkey, founded in 2005 by the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation. The museum is housed in a renovated historical building, which was originally constructed in 1893 by the architect Achille Manoussos will feature Venezuelan films between October 6 and 11 within the framework of Autumn Film Activities. The films week will be held with contributions of the Venezuelan Embassy in Ankara and Cervantes Culture Center. Eight films will promote Venezuela's culture via themes like politics, social life and love. "Chavez, Venezuela and New Latin America", "Postcards from Leningrad" and "Llaguno Bridge" are some of the films to be screened during the week.
