(CUL) ISTANBUL MUSEUM TO FEATURE PORTUGUESE CINEMA.


ISTANBUL, Nov 16, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- An Istanbul museum will promote Portuguese cinema between November 17 and 22, a museum statement said on Monday.

The Pera Museum released a statement in which it said four Portuguese films will be screened within the framework of IndieLisboa Days Portuguese Cinema on Tour event.

These films are "A Zona/Arise" by Sandro Aguilar, exquisite essay film "Ruins" by Manuel Mozos, roadmovie/film diary "Balaou" by Gancalo Tocha and "Perpetual Movements" by Edgar Pera, a tribute to Portuguese guitar The Portuguese guitar or Portuguese guitarra (Portuguese: guitarra portuguesa) is a plucked string instrument with twelve strings, strung in six courses of two.
