WOODBURY, N.Y. -- Levitz Furniture is giving people across the country a reason to sing one of their favorite jingles -- "You'll Love it at Levitz" -- louder than ever. The specialty retailer, famous for its great brands and value pricing, is hosting grand opening events at several new store locations across the country as part of the company's renewed commitment to providing customers with a superior shopping experience. The new stores will feature an expanded selection of furniture and bedding; the convenience of wider aisles and better lighting; and, more accessible customer service centers.

Levitz is opening new stores across the country, starting with a 53,000 square-feet Staten Island, NY store opening on April 22. The new store, which boasts 25% more space than its other tri-state area locations, is one of several new locations across the country, that offer customers even more ways to experience Levitz's great brands and value prices including the addition of a Schandig Gallery and a Levitz Kids Store. Other store grand openings include Staten Island, NY, Paramus, NJ and Bronx, NY during April-May; Summerlin, NV in early summer; Murrieta, CA in the early fall; and, Valley Stream, NY in the late fall.

April Grand Opening celebrations are planned for the Staten Island, NY, Paramus, NJ, Elmhurst, NY, Farmingdale, NY, Hawthorne, CA and S. Sacramento, CA store locations. The grand opening events will boast a fun, exciting array of activities for the entire family including a circus extravaganza; free giveaways to the first 100 customers at participating grand opening locations; and, the chance for one lucky customer to win a $10,000 Levitz Furniture home makeover.

In addition, the Company announced it was proceeding with its store renovation plans slated for the late spring, including projects in Turnbull, NY, Paramus, NJ, Anaheim, CA and Victorville, CA.
