'YOB COPS' LEFT TRAIN PASSENGERS IN FEAR.

A WOMAN who claimed she was mercilessly bullied by a group of drunken policemen after getting on a train was backed up by witnesses yesterday.

Fellow passenger Cheryl Woodcock Cheryl Woodcock (b. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an entertainment producer and on-air personality for Entertainment Tonight and ET's The Insider.

Woodcock attended Arizona State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

She told magistrates she was shocked at the behaviour of the two sergeants and four PCs who were returning from a pre-Christmas jaunt.

She added: "The atmosphere was horrible. I was glad I didn't have my little boy with me. But there was a child on the train. It was quite scary."

Later she told how she saw one of the men - all based in Boston, Lincs-push Miss Bowler into her seat as she tried to leave the 19.11 Nottingham-to-Skegness service. Another passenger Stacey Fulcher, said: "It was all drugs - saying she was a dealer and how many lives she'd ruined. They said she was a disgusting lesbian."

The off-duty police, who knew Miss Bowler, eventually arranged for her to be arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs - which proved false.

Conduct likely to lead to a disturbance of the public peace or that offends public decency. It has been held to include the use of obscene language in public, fighting in a public place, blocking public ways, and making threats.

PCs Ryan Duffy, 22, and Neill Webster, 23, both of Skegness' Matthew Dossett, 30, of Kirkby-on-Bain' and Jody Senior, 27, of Spalding, deny the same offence.
