"We're very excited to make this unprecedented worldwide wine auction available online through eBay Live Auctions and icollector.com," said Nuri Otus, CEO & Chief Auctioneer of AuctioNet. "With the eBay Live Auction tool, thousands of potential bidders worldwide can participate in our live event without traveling to the beautiful Napa Valley. The wine offered will be appealing to a broad range of buyers, ranging from table wines to nearly $1 million worth of fine and rare wines. The extraordinary "gem wines" include such desirable notables as 1945 Chateau Lafitte Rothschild, 1921 Chateau d'Yquem, Domaine Leroy Clos de Vougeot and more. In addition, champagne from Alain Robert and Cristal will be available. There will also be a wide variety of wine accessories such as Reidel wine glasses, beautiful wine decanters, wine racks and a number of special gift packages. Lots range in size from one or a few bottles to commercial quantities. All the wine has been stored in a temperature-controlled environment without interruption and is in prime condition for sale.

"icollector.com is the independent online connection to hundreds of prestigious auction houses, dealers and galleries from around the world. Icollector users can browse catalogs, place absentee bids and bid directly into the auction house as the sale happens in real time together with eBay Live Auctions," said Mark Hill director at icollector. "Our partnership with Realm Connect on the World's Largest Wine Sale ensures an extremely exciting Internet wine buying experience from bidders around the globe."

eBay Live Auctions, a powerful tool introduced on eBay last year, allows online bidders to participate in live sales from auction houses or locations around the world. Details and instructions on placing bids using the eBay Live Auctions are available directly at www.ebayliveauctions.com. Bidders must first sign up for the event online as a registered eBay user, and comply with the verification requirements applied by the seller. Before placing bids using Live Auctions, users can browse an online auction catalog http://media.auctionet.com/auction_calendar/wine/auction_catalog_wine.html . Users can place bids before and during a live event. Once received, these bids are sent instantaneously to the auction floor of the sales event.

Restrictions and Policies:

All bidders must be 21 years of age or older to participate in the 'World's Largest Wine Auction' and are required to review the Terms & Conditions at http://media.auctionet.com/auction_calendar/wine/wine_terms.html before registering.

eBay does not permit the sale of wine by individuals on the eBay site. eBay enacted this general rule since the sale of wine is highly regulated in many states, making it extremely difficult for users to lawfully conduct person-to-person wine transactions. Only licensed auction houses or dealers are permitted to sell wine on eBay Premier and eBay Live Auctions. Each auction house or dealer is carefully vetted by eBay to ensure that the correct licenses and procedures are in place to sell alcohol on the eBay Premier and eBay Live Auctions site.
