Colin Ray Jackson CBE (born February 18, 1967 in Cardiff, Wales) is a Welsh sprint and hurdling athlete of Jamaican and distant
 today admitted charity work helped him see the real world for the first time. The 40-year-old Cardiff-born athlete supports Sport Relief, which funds sporting activities in the UK and abroad.

He said it was a pleasure "knowing that we were raising money to help these kids spend their energy organising football matches rather than trying to kill each other."

Jackson added: "As a sportsman you stay in your own world of success so Sport Relief was a great experience."
