 will be making their list and checking it twice. Suncoast Motion Picture Company surveyed movie fans to get their take on this year's hottest sequel releases.

It was no surprise that one of the biggest hits of the summer, Spider-Man 2, topped the list with 33 percent of the vote and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was a close second at 29 percent. Twenty-two percent of movie buffs couldn't wait to see the Shrek 2 crew on DVD, 12 percent couldn't wait for The Bourne Bourne, town (1990 pop. 16,064), Barnstable co., SE Mass., crossed by Cape Cod Canal; settled 1627, inc. 1884. Bourne Bridge (1935), across the canal, made the town an entry point to Cape Cod and a resort and commercial center.  Supremacy and four percent were looking forward to Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.

Other interesting survey finds included:

--Two was definitely better than one for this season's sequels with only five percent of survey respondents stating this year's releases were not as good as the original.

--Forty-five percent of survey participants felt the same cast was essential for the success of a sequel. A solid story line that was different from the original was important for 39 percent of respondents.

--This year's sequels should be strong DVD releases. Eighty-four percent of respondents plan to buy between two to four of the releases.

--What other blockbusters do movie fans want considered for a sequel? Fifty percent of participants think another Finding Nemo adventure would be worthy of a second time around. The possibility of robots taking over the world was of interest to respondents with 30 percent wanting to see an I, Robot I, Robot is a collection of nine English language science fiction short stories by Isaac Asimov, first published by Gnome Press in 1950 in an edition of 5,000 copies.  sequel.

--Spider-Man 2: November 30

--Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement: December 14
