'TOO-POSH COP SACKED'.

AN opera-singing WPC said yesterday she was sacked for being too middle-class.

Ex-public schoolgirl Alison Wheeler, 39, who worked as a mezzo soprano for 10 years, told a tribunal colleagues mocked her for owning a grand piano. She branded bosses "ageist" and "sexist".

Surrey Police sacked her for allegedly failing to help colleague Rory Channon as he was beaten up by yobs outside Walton police station in 2007. They said she failed to use her CS spray or radio.

She insists she did help, and wants pounds 350,000 compensation. The tribunal in Croydon continues.
