Holiday decorating has become a BIG job. At the North Hollywood home of the George Kainz family, the front yard is transformed into NORTHPOLEYWOOD with a little help from friends and Santa. Over in Valley Village, the task is no less daunting daunt tr.v. daunt·ed, daunt·ing, daunts To abate the courage of; discourage. See Synonyms at dismay. The result is still the same: a luminous holiday gift created for neighbors and passers-by. Daily News readers shared their holiday decorating stories and provided us with the addresses of the most spectacularly lit homes in their neighborhoods. The only difference between him and Spaulding is that he has his wife, four children and friends helping to pull off his festive display. ``It's out of control - it's really large,'' says Kainz.
