FARMER Tony Martin yesterday backed a dad who stabbed a burglar at his home after police said it would take them 30 minutes to get there.

The Norfolk farmer said Antonio Caeiro, 33, would have been a "bloody fool" if he hadn't defended his wife and baby daughter.
