It was the same area where her handbag was found dumped after the burglary. Amanda said: "About 1pm on Sundaywe drove round the areawhere my handbag had been dumped and spotted the car being driven around. "It shot past us and we turned around, but it had gone. We carried on, turned into a small car park off Ridgeway Close and my car was parked up there with some teenagers inside. "We parked nearby and phoned the police. They told us they would send officers immediately and warned us not to chase the car. "It then drove off and quickly disappeared. To be fair to the police four police vehicles attended, but the car had gone. "All the people inside looked to be between 17 and 21 and they wore hooded tops and baseball caps." She added: "We just can't under-stand why they'd continue to drive the car round the same area. It still has the same number plates. "It was hard seeing my car being revved up and shoot off down a road being abused like we'd never abuse it. It's the sheer audacity we can't get over."
