Bank of America (NYSE: BAC TYO: 8648 ) is the largest commercial bank in the United States in terms of deposits, and the largest company of its kind in the world. Building, a Class A office property it owned at 4625 Lindell Blvd., to Central West End Partners, a private real estate investment group. The sale price was $8,400,000. Sterling American Property Fund III had acquired the property from builder/owner Bank of America in December 1999, at a time when the bank was aggressively reducing its regional real estate holdings. During the past five years, Sterling American completely upgraded the 71,500 s/f, five-story building and re-positioned it. Robert Bergman, senior vice president of asset management, said, "When we originally acquired the building we knew we had discovered a diamond in the rough. We were able to replace the pre-existing tenant mix with new, AAA AAA: see American Automobile Association.
