REBNY's criteria for selection of the award include those individuals initially licensed as a salesperson after January 1, 1998; those REBNY REBNY Real Estate Board of New York  salesperson members in good standing as of June 15, 1999; the demonstration of the ability to originate, analyze, negotiate and close deals; those who exhibit sound moral character and high ethical professional behavior; and those who have made significant monetary contributions to their firm's success.

The award, won by a Halstead broker twice in the past three years, was presented in March at the annual Residential Business Conference luncheon. Originally from Georgia, Davenport started her career in the fashion industry. "Once I reached the age of thirty, I decided I needed to challenge myself more," said Davenport. "And since joining Halstead, every day in the New York real estate market has been just that a challenge."
