'Rogues gallery' brings in the phone calls.


CRIMESTOPPERS have been given names after the Examiner publ icised a 'rogues gallery' of suspected criminals in Huddersfield.

But they still have no suggestions for the man who appeared in the clearest photo of all.

West Yorkshire Police West Yorkshire Police is the Home Office police force responsible for policing West Yorkshire in England. It is the fourth largest force in England and Wales by number of officers, with 5671 officers.  now have a new section on their website called Caught On Camera, with photos of wanted people updated every few days. Last Friday the Examiner printed all the suspects caught on camera in Kirklees and Crimestoppers has since received calls from people suggesting names.

The damage was allegedly inflicted after an argument with the driver.

The picture, taken by a wi tnes s, shows a man described as 40 to 50 years old, 5ft 10in tall and sturdy, with short salt and pepper hair.He wore a long-sleeved, blue and white checked shirt.

Police say the incident happened at about 10.30am on September 6.

Det Con Kevin Mosley, of Crimestoppers, said: "The photo of the man wanted in connection with the Lindley incident is exceptionally clear and we would have thought we'd have had some calls.

"It may be he does not live in the Huddersfield area."
