Cygnus Business Media (Fort Atkinson, WI) has begun the publication of 'Risk Mitigation Executive,' a new eight-page, monthly newsletter targeted to corporate-level executives. A charter annual subscription to the newsletter costs $595.

Launched on June 13, the title gives subscribers access to corporations' best business continuity practices through articles written by risk practitioners, Cygnus said. Editorial will cover such risk mitigation topics as security analysis and planning, risk and crisis management, business continuity planning and due diligence, security litigation and law, employee hiring and HR best practices, and security techniques. The premier issue includes a story on Wendy's crisis communication plan, an article on risk assessment for companies operating outside the U.S., coverage of business continuity in initiatives, phishing, screening and identifying critical corporate assets.

Cygnus Group Vice President Michael Martin noted that 'limiting risk is essential in all organizations. Public companies are additionally required to answer to their shareholders and boards and are more open to government scrutiny.
