'RealLife HR' is Unveiled as New Name for RewardsPlus.

 Gary Broache, RealLife HR president, who unveiled the corporate name change today during a company-wide event at the firm's Hunt Valley, Md. headquarters.

"This is an exciting day for the company," Broache said. "As we prepare to celebrate our tenth year in business, we felt this was the ideal time to adjust our name and brand to better connect with our core competency A core competency is something that a firm can do well and that meets the following three conditions specified by Hamel and Prahalad (1990):
  1. It provides customer benefits
  2. It is hard for competitors to imitate
  3. It can be leveraged widely to many products and markets.

In conjunction with the name change, the company unveiled a new logo for RealLife HR as well as a newly designed Web site - www.reallifehr.com. The company also announced plans to launch a communications campaign targeting the regional business community and HR decision-makers across the nation. The campaign will include increased executive and corporate visibility in the local community as well as with key HR industry trade organizations.

"Today's announcement is just the beginning," Broache told the RealLife HR professionals during today's announcement event. "Our customers and prospects will be seeing a lot more of us out in the community and in the industry as we continue to tell the story of how our services can provide so much to the HR industry."
