THE parents of a premature baby who died have begged thieves to return his final pictures.

Matthew Connolly Matthew Connolly (born 24 September 1987 in Barnet) is a footballer who plays as a defender. He is currently on loan to Championship side Colchester United from Arsenal for the whole of the 2007-08 season.  died seven weeks ago, aged five months, when his lungs stopped supporting him.

Mum Toyah Stuart and dad Keith Connolly, 37, had taken pictures of their son in their arms moments before he passed away.

 which was stolen in a raid on Keith's decorating business in Bootle, Merseyside.

Hairdresser Miss Stuart, 28, said: "We have been through so much in the last 12 months and we just don't deserve this.

"The pictures are of his last moments - when we held him for the first time without any tubes. They are incredibly precious.

"I am not bothered about the laptop, just the pictures. If anyone knows anything I am pleading you to come forward."
