'Pitchforks & gun used in attack' COURTS.FIVE men ambushed a wedding party with a gun and pitchforks, a court heard yesterday. They allegedly forced a car to turn around before breaking its windows, assaulting the driver and his wife, Mr Hugh Hugh (pronunced hyuu) is a male given name. It is Germanic and means "Bright in Mind and Spirit" or "Thoughtful". It is related to the name Hugin( one of Odin's ravens, who represented Thought.) The following medieval rulers were named Hugh. and Therese Nevin, and shooting their son John Joe, who was a passenger. The accused are William William, crown prince of Germany William or Frederick William, 1882–1951, crown prince of Germany, son of William II. In World War I he commanded (1914) an army on the Western Front and was nominal commander in the German attack McGinley of Shroid, Dennis McGinley of Woodlands, Abbeycartron, Tommy McGinley of Palace Drive, Ardnacasa, and Patrick and Robert Hannafin, both of Dublin Road, in Longford. All pleaded not guilty to violent disorder on Dublin Road, in 2006. The trial, at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, is expected to last three weeks before Judge Rory MacCabe. |
