'People of Punjab love Chinese Culture'.


LAHORE Lahore (ləhôr`), city (1998 pop. 5,063,499), capital of Punjab prov., E central Pakistan, on the Ravi River. It is the second largest city of Pakistan. , September September: see month.  17, 2009 (Frontier Star): The Cultural Counsellor of Peoples Republic of China Yang yang (yang) [Chinese] in Chinese philosophy, the active, positive, masculine principle that is complementary to yin; see yin, under principle.  Linhai visited Punjab-Jiangsu Cultural Centre situated in Punjab Institute of Language Art and Culture Lahore (PILAC PILAC Pion Linear Accelerator ) in connection with the celebrations of 60th Independence Day of China. The First Secretary in Embassy of China, Mr. Chen Pengshan and other officers also accompanied the Cultural Counsellor. Director General PILAC, Dr. Liaqat Ali Niazi, Chief Executive Officer, Punjab China Bureau, Zafaruddin Mahmood and other senior officers of the institute were also present on this occasion. On this occasion, Yang Linhai, said that Punjab-Jiangsu Cultural Centre Lahore would further strengthen the cultural, educational as well as economic relations between the two countries. He also said that people of Punjab love Chinese Culture and besides the exchange of students' delegations between the two countries. China would also offer scholarships to the Pakistani students. He told that Punjab and Jiangsu have been declared twin provinces. Mr. Yang Linhai further said that short and medium terms courses of Chinese language, Traditional Painting and Chinese Food Cooking would be started soon in this centre for which China would provide teachers. Director General PILAC, Dr. Liaqat Ali Niazi informed that two lecture rooms and a staff room has already been allocated for Chinese language classes and sufficient space was available in PILAC for the establishment of library, auditorium auditorium
