 College's Theater Arts Department will present ``The Philadelphia Story,'' Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as July 27-29 at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 750 W. Lancaster Blvd.

``The Philadelphia Story,'' a romantic comedy written by Phillip Barry, follows wealthy debutante Tracy Lord as she gets her comeuppance come·up·pance  
n.
A punishment or retribution that one deserves; one's just deserts: "It's a chance to strike back at the critical brotherhood and give each his comeuppance for evaluative sins of the past" 
 on her wedding day. The entire Lord family learns a lesson about the simple joys in life from the everyday people around them.

Alissa Welsch will direct the show, which is set in the 1930s. Welsch has directed a number of other local productions, including ``The Rocky Horror Show horror show
