"I'M very pleased. We worked hard on certain aspects of our game and the players learned from that.

During the first 45 minutes we attempted to play in the way we wanted.

After half-time we did the Argyle thing of trying to hang onto what we had and it nearly cost us dear.

But, overall, that was the best we've played this season, apart from our opener against Wolves.

The result was important and that will help build confidence.

Emile Mpenza did well, but he should have scored before he did.

He showed a willingness and a sharpness which was good to see.
