'OUTCAST,' 'SNARL' ON STAGE TWO ONE-ACT PLAYS SET FOR WEEKEND PERFORMANCES AT PLAYHOUSE.

PALMDALE - The western ``The Outcasts The Outcasts are a fictional criminal organization from the Digital Anvil/Microsoft game Freelancer.

Based on the planet Malta, the Outcasts are the descendants of colonists from the sleeper ship Hispania.
 of Poker Flats'' and the mystery comedy ``The Tangled Snarl'' are the offerings in the Palmdale Playhouse's fourth annual One-Act Festival.

Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. E.

Based on a story by Western writer Bret Harte and adapted for the stage by Perry Edward, ``Outcasts'' is about six people snowbound snow·bound
