He is currently the Labour Party Spokesperson for Social & Family Affairs. Willie Penrose was born in Ballynacargy, County Westmeath and educated at St. Mary's C.B.S. said support is needed to help those in the countryside. He added: "These services are vital to people residing in rural areas and they provide services for the elderly and many people who reside on their own or in isolated areas. "So I am calling upon the Government to ensure that this important scheme is not subject to any cuts." |
